Collaborative partners

Bink collaborates with many partners. This allows us to always provide the best quality and to meet the needs of parents.

Education

  • We work together with forty primary schools in Hilversum and with twenty primary schools in Soest(erberg) and Huis Ter Heide. Every school has ties to an out-of-school location, usually close to school and sometimes even next to or inside the school building.
  • Stip & Bink work together and, where possible, form Integral Child Centres (IKC). The Child Vision is central to this: equal opportunities, continuous development lines and parental engagement for children from 0-13 years old. The goal is to form IKC’s within four years at all the locations where Bink & Stip work together.
  • The collaboration with the University of Utrecht (UU) helps us to maintain a high level of professionalism and quality at Bink, for example around our working method of Playfully Developing. We also regularly collaborate on the UU’s scientific research.
  • If a child does not progress to mainstream education, we look at what might be appropriate education for the child together with Unita.

Care and extra support

  • Not only do we sometimes refer families, but we also avail ourselves of the expertise of the Municipal Health Services Gooi en Vechtstreek and other related organisations.
  • We join forces with Youké when a child requires specialized help because he or she does not develop according to his or her age.
  • Bink organises the at-home-programme Opstapje, which is geared towards increasing education opportunities for children between 1 and 2 years of age. We do this in cooperation with The Centre for Children and Families Gooi en Vechtstreek and the municipality of Hilversum.
  • We offer parents of children between the ages of 2 and 5 free ‘For you and your child’ meetings. This way, a parent learns what they can do to stimulate language development in their child. The meetings were developed by Stichting Lezen en Schrijven (Foundation for Reading and Writing) and the Hilversum Library. Additionally, the Hilversum Library organisesworkshops for parents and the reading programme for toddlers called BoekStart.
  • Auris is an audiological centre that offers help to anyone who has difficulty with hearing. Auris consults and offers us advice in this area.

Trade

  • Bink is affiliated with the Social Childcare Trade Association (BMK), an association of childcare organisations that view childcare as a basic provision for the development of all children aged 0 to 12.
  • Bink works together with thirteen regional and national childcare organisations under the name: KIK: quality in childcare. These social childcare organisations join forces to improve the quality of childcare through, for example, exchange of expertise.

Sport and culture

  • In cooperation with the municipality of Hilversum, we are active as community sports coaches. The goal is to get all children and youth moving in an approachable way.
  • With Mevrouw Muziek’s music programme, we regularly introduce music at our facilities.
  • Hilversum Library and Public University
  • For fifteen years, we have sponsored the Bink Kids Run, the children’s running component of the Hilversum City Run. We also sponsor the Bink Sylvester Scholierencross in Soest and the Bink Kids StartbaanRun in Soesterberg.
  • Sport Club ‘t Gooi houses our sports-out-of-school care Sportkids and we have use of the tennis courts, sports hall and sports fields. During the summer holidays, we organise daily activities here for the oldest out-of-school care children from different locations. Children who play football at SC ‘t Gooi can easily and safely go to their football practice from Sportkids.
  • Sports club HSV Wasmeer provides the Bink Football League and the Bink Handball League with coaches and supervisors.
  • At our childcare facilities in Soest, instrumental music lessons are provided by the Johann Sebastian Bachschool.
  • Our out-of-school care Wood Cabin is housed at the Hees Football Club in Soest. An ideal location for organizing sports and game activities.
  • JOGG is available at several Bink sports events, where the youngsters are playfully made aware of healthy nutrition.
  • Limited financial resources may not be the reason to not be able to participate in sports. Our community sports coaches are therefore intermediaries at the Youth Fund for Sport & Culture.
  • Youth and Family draws the attention of vulnerable families to the possibility of free sports activities provided by the community sports coaches.
  • The Cruyff Foundation supports the Streetwise Cup, organised by our community sports coaches.
