Daycare

Start your working day with peace of mind, because you know that your child is happily attending day care. From singing a welcome song or playing a movement game, to investigating materials in the discovery box: at Bink, children (0-4 years old) learn to play together, share, help each other and do increasingly more by themselves.

What are the benefits of day care?

You might consider day care to be a miniature of society; your child takes his first steps towards independence, learns to play with other children and to handle differences. Does your child have trouble sleeping or eating, or does he have a hard time saying goodbye? If you are dealing with certain parenting challenges, we can offer advice.

To make your life a little easier, you do not have to carry around formula, snacks, sleeping bags, diapers or sunscreen; this is all available and included in the price.

A healthy glow

Isn’t it wonderful? Your child arriving home with pink cheeks, messy hair and a huge grin? At Bink we love to move and this possible in so many ways! Whenever possible, we take your child outside to play with fallen leaves, sand and wind, and to jump around in puddles. But we do plenty of indoor activities as well: setting out an obstacle course, doing the Bunny Stop dance as well as playing with a hoop and a ball. Good for body and soul!

Development while playing

At all of our day care centres, we work with a unique programme that our pedagogues at the University of Utrecht created together: Development While Playing. We offer pre-schoolers – and often also toddlers – targeted activities with a particular theme that stimulate different areas of children’s development. We do two activities a day, for example a creative activity and an activity to stimulate language and vocabulary.

We also offer international day care at our Toermalijn location. Our pedagogical staff members speak both Dutch and English with the children.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I register my child for daycare?

You can register your child for daycare as soon as the expected date of birth is known. Our customer advice staff will contact you to discuss the options for your child.

If I register early, will there always be room for my child?

This may differ per location. Our customer advice staff will inform you about the care options available at the location of your choice. Curious about which location has immediate availability? View this page.

When will I learn that there is a place available for my child?

As soon as we have a place for your child, we will let you know. For the daycare centre and the after-school centre, we aim to inform you no later than six months before the requested childcare date, and for the playgroup no later than three months. If you do not hear anything, this means that we do not (yet) have a place available.

Can I get a tour of the daycare centre?

Yes, if a place is or becomes available at the desired location, you are more than welcome to come by. During a tour, you will hear more about our childcare and will get a good impression of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Call our client advisors to make an appointment via 035 683 44 99.

Is it possible to switch days at the daycare?

Exchanging or requesting extra days is a service we offer whenever possible. The group size, composition, and number of available pedagogical staff must allow for it. The location will decide whether exchanging a day or extra childcare is possible.
