Moving with Bink

We believe in the power of movement, so that your child is comfortable in his own skin. It is beneficial for health, for the release of energy and emotions and it stimulates brain development. The brain makes connections your child will need later in life. For example, you need balance to learn how to write. By moving, your child learns how to face challenges, solve problems and discover the world. Is your child moving along nicely?

How does Bink move?

From the ages of 0 to 4, your child is stimulated to move in various ways. It goes without saying that he or she does not have to achieve Champions League-levels right off the bat; we start with small steps that are age appropriate. Our pedagogical staff members think up fun activities related to movement. Think of a game with coloured hoops: toddlers and pre-schoolers go around the room looking for objects in the same colours and place them in the right hoops. Or we set up a course with steps going up and down and gates to crawl under. At many out-of-school care locations, we have qualified sports leaders to kick around a ball with or who will organize cool sports activities in the gymnasium.

Sports tournaments, events and the Bink League

How about sports tournaments and events? Such as the superhero party for preschoolers and a water polo, football and climbing event for the older children. Or our Bink Leagues, so that your child can ‘sample’ various sports: your child can participate in the football, hockey, water polo and handball league after out-of-school care times.

Copying behaviour

Babies follow toddlers that crawl by and subsequently try to roll over. Toddlers see preschoolers going to the toilet and want to try this as well. Preschoolers see others climbing on and off everything and in doing so, learn to wait their turn. Preschoolers admire older children making beautiful creations with hotfix beads and feel challenged to try something that requires concentration and fine motor skills. And school children challenge each other during sports activities and become more competitive. As you can see, from daycare to out-of-school care: Bink is the place where movement is (subconsciously) stimulated.

Transportation to sports clubs

To stimulate children to do more sports and move more, we try to drive children to their practices or (swimming) lessons during their out-of-school care as much as possible. Check out the options for transportation to sports clubs.

Movement for the entire youth of Hilversum

Movement is important for all children. That is why, in cooperation with the municipality of Hilversum, we deploy neighbourhood sports coaches with the aim of getting all the youth in Hilversum moving in a low-threshold manner. They organise weekly free sports and fun activities in your neighbourhood.

What we also do…

To stimulate children to do more sports, we have been sponsoring the Bink Kids Run, the childrens’ marathon portion of the Hilversum City Run, for more than 15 years. It is the biggest sporting event in Hilversum. We also sponsor the Bink Sylvester Scholierencross in Soest and the Bink Kids StartbaanRun in Soesterberg.
