The daycare centre is fancifully designed, with all kinds of nice corners, where children get plenty of space to play and explore. They can also use up all their energy in the garden with the large sandpit, a willow tunnel and a lot of grass. Toermalijn has 6 groups: 2 for babies and toddlers, 2 for toddlers and 2 international groups.
What makes Toermalijn special?
- A spacious daycare centre with many play corners and a pleasant games room;
- Separate space with a studio for creative activities and a reading corner;
- A healthy hot meal at lunchtime;
- Specially designed garden that challenges children to move about, play and explore. Babies have their own garden;
- The Westerheide is around the corner and we regularly go there with a group of children for a walk or with the cart;
- Toermalijn is easily accessible from the Mediapark.
- International daycare, primarily intended for children from international families.

How can I register my child?
For our daycare centres, ou-of school care and playgroups you can register online or contact our customer service employees via 035 683 44 99 between 9 a.m. and 4. p.m. They can immediately look at the availability and establish whether this matches your requirements.
I have applied for three days of childcare, but one day in the short term would also help me. Is that possible?
Due to the staff shortage in childcare, the waiting time for childcare has increased considerably. We fully understand that this is frustrating for parents. Where possible, we do our best to accommodate parents. Should there be partial availability on the days you requested childcare, or space on other days, we will let you know as well.
When can I register my child for daycare?
You can register your child for daycare as soon as the expected date of birth is known. Our customer advice staff will contact you to discuss the options for your child.
