Because Bink is required to provide information about childcare hours and hourly rates to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, it’s important that all personal details and the citizen service numbers (BSN) of you and your child are complete and correct in our records before the start of the childcare.
If your child has not yet been born or does not yet have a BSN, please let us know as soon as it becomes available.
Of course, we handle your data with care and only share it when legally required. You can read more about our policy at: cookies & privacy.
All the information you need to apply for childcare allowance can be found in your contract. Please allow a processing time of four to eight weeks. The allowance must be applied for within three months after the starting month of care. Applying too late means you may lose (part of) your entitlement.
You can easily apply via the Toeslagen app of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. Need help? Visit a toeslagenservicepunt (allowance service point) in your area.
Our daycare locations are open almost all year, including during school holidays. We are only closed on a few predetermined days each year. You will receive an annual overview of these closure days, which are also listed in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
About six weeks before the start date, you will receive a separate email containing your username (email address) and an activation link to set your password. After setting your password, you can log in at: https://bink.ouderportaal.nl
Here you can:
You can also use Konnect through the Konnect Parent App, available for free in the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android).
Three to four weeks before the start, the location manager or assistant manager will contact you to schedule an introductory meeting. During this personal conversation, you’ll receive additional information, find out which group your child will join, and discuss together how to arrange the settling-in times.
Your child’s placement begins with a settling-in period. We set aside several days so your child can gradually get used to the new environment. How this goes depends on your child’s age and personality. During this period, you and your child will get to know the group, the pedagogical professionals, and the location. The childcare hours will be built up gradually, so please keep this in mind when planning.
On this page, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions — for example, about the parent portal, our nutrition policy, rates, and how to report changes.
You can also read about how we ensure a safe sleep environment at our daycare and what you can do at home to help prepare your child.
