Important information for playgroups

Check your details

Because Bink is required to provide information about childcare hours and hourly rates to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, it’s important that all personal details and the citizen service numbers (BSN) of you and your child are complete and correct in our records before the start of the childcare. If your child has not yet been born or does not yet have a BSN, please let us know as soon as it becomes available.

Of course, we handle your data with care and only share it when legally required. You can read more about our policy at: cookies & privacy.

Childcare allowance or municipal subsidy

For preschool care, you are always entitled to a contribution toward the costs. Depending on your situation, you will receive either a childcare allowance or a municipal subsidy. On this page, you can read which arrangement applies to you.

Please note: if you are eligible for a subsidy, we must receive the required information no later than one month before the start date.

Opening hours

Our preschools are open during school weeks and follow the holiday schedule of primary schools in the region. During school holidays, the preschools are closed.

Parent portal

About six weeks before the start date, you will receive a separate email containing your username (email address) and an activation link to set your password. After setting your password, you can log in at: https://bink.ouderportaal.nl

Here you can:

  • View photos and group messages;
  • Notify us when your child will be absent;
  • Communicate with the pedagogical professionals.

You can also use Konnect through the Konnect Parent App, available for free in the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android).

Introduction meeting and settling-in period

A new environment can be exciting, which is why we help children settle in gradually. During the settling-in period, you and your child will get to know the group, the pedagogical professionals, and the location. Before the start, you will receive an invitation for an introductory meeting with the pedagogical professional of the group. During this meeting, you will discuss, among other things, how the settling-in period will be arranged.

VE indication — how does it work?

Does your child have a VE (Early Childhood Education) indication? On this page, you can read exactly how early childhood education works at Bink.
