Bso Zonnewind

The out-of-school care facility Zonnewind is located in the building of Waldorf School De Windkanter and is intended for children of this school. Zonnewind works on the basis of an anthroposophical vision, which is reflected in the design, use of colour and choice of materials, but especially in the activities. At the out-of-school care facility Zonnewind a maximum of 44 children are cared for in two groups on a daily basis, the group for the youngest children, aged 4-7 years and the group for the older children, aged 8-12 years. The out-of-school care facility is open from Monday to Friday after school hours.

What makes Zonnewind special?

  • The activities of this out-of-school care facility are complementary to those of the school. We prefer, for instance, to work with natural materials and it is important to experience pure activities with the children: artistic activities, singing, dancing, making music, cooking, but also playing sports and games, outdoors and indoors.
  • The rhythm of the seasons is followed and annual feasts are celebrated.
  • The group rooms are decorated in anthroposophical style.
  • Separate groups for youngest and oldest children.
  • Always at the day care centre with friends from their own school.

About Bink’s out-of-school care facilities

Bink provides out-of-school care for children of all primary schools, so your child will always be able to attend out-of-school care with his or her schoolmates. They can play in their own group, participate in activities or just read a book on the couch. Relaxation and enjoyment are paramount.

What we do:

  • Play sports and exercise under the guidance of qualified sports leaders (preferably outdoors) each day;
  • Drama, dance and music workshops;
  • Cooking and doing handicrafts together.
