Sleeping safely

Sleeping safely

During their first year of life, babies sleep a lot. In order to ensure that your child sleeps safely and well at daycare, we follow certain rules. We work according to the “Sleeping Safely” protocol, which is based on the guidelines given by the Dutch Center for Youth Health. This ensures that all of our beds meet safety standards and that we regularly check in on your child whilst they are sleeping.

The transition from home to daycare is a big change for babies. We wish, together with parents, to ensure that this transition proceeds as well and a smoothly as possible. In the flyers below, you will be able to read about what you can already do at home to prepare your baby for sleeping at daycare and to learn about which cuddly toys are safe to bring to bed. We want babies to sleep as well whilst at daycare with us as at home!
